not bad.
the texts/graphics are alright for this type of game. questions are very creative, original, and unpredictable, which makes the player willing to continue with the game each time he answers the questions correctly. you played with words in a majority of the questions and to answer the questions correctly, players need to think outside the box and search for hidden meanings behind. while the answers may not be immediately obvious, it is possible to figure out the right answer without having to make a lot of guesses. (which makes it hard, but not totally impossible to answer on the first try)therefore, checkpoints should be placed further apart from one another(for example, every 15 or 20 questions or so, instead of just 7) to discourage blind guessing. in this way, players will become more involved in the game.
you also need some background music. it is rather dull to spend the time figuring out the answers to each question without having something refreshing to listen to.
that was a good demo. look forward to the full version.
